Door Edge Guard Strip with U-Shaped Channel, 16.4 Feet for Universal Vehicle Fit

Protect Car Doors From Scratches With This Edge Guard Strip

You swing your door open in a tight parking spot and hear that awful scrape against the car next to you. Now there's another chip in the paint, and you're stuck looking at it every single day. This edge guard strip wraps around your door edges and absorbs contact when you park near walls, posts, or other vehicles in crowded lots.

The strip slides onto door edges using a U-shaped channel that grips the metal without adhesive backing. You warm it slightly with a heat gun or hair dryer to make it flexible, then press it into place along the edge. Once cooled, it stays locked on through daily door opening and closing.

It measures 16.4 feet long and can be cut to fit doors, hoods, or trunk edges on sedans, hatchbacks, and SUVs. The strip bends around curved edges and corners without cracking or peeling away. It sits flush against the door surface and doesn't stick out or catch on clothing when you get in and out.

The material handles rain, snow, heat, and cold without breaking down or losing its grip. It blocks direct contact between your door edge and hard surfaces that cause paint chips. The strip stays attached through car washes and highway driving without lifting or sliding off.

• U-SHAPED CHANNEL DESIGN: Grips door edges securely without glue or tape and stays locked during regular vehicle use outdoors.

• 16.4 FOOT LENGTH: Covers multiple door edges or trunk areas and can be trimmed to fit specific measurements on different vehicles.

• HEAT ACTIVATED INSTALLATION: Softens with warmth for easier bending around curves and hardens once cooled for a permanent hold.

• WEATHER RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION: Withstands temperature shifts, moisture, and outdoor exposure without cracking, fading, or losing adhesion over time.

• LOW PROFILE APPEARANCE: Sits flush against door edges without bulging outward or creating visible gaps between the strip and paint.

• UNIVERSAL VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY: Fits compact cars, midsize sedans, SUVs, and trucks with standard door edge thicknesses and surface shapes.
